The beauty, wild white-water, mysterious pools and the world-famous marble trout make the Rivers Soca, Tolminka, Idrijca, Bača, and Nadiža with their tributaries a line on a bucket list of every enthusiastic fly-fisherman.
Fly fishing season in the Tolmin fishing area is from the beginning of April to the beginning of November, yet it is not the same for all the fish types. The only allowed way of fishing is fly fishing, and the purchase of a Fishing Permit is obligatory.
