A growing number of vistors is visiting not only Tolmin, but also Bovec and Kobarid to enjoy in the music and nature.

The whole upper Soca Valley displays a selection of events and festivals. There are world-famous Tolminator, Punk Rock Festival, and Overjam International Reggae Festival along with many smaller music festivals satisfying various music tastes from metal, punk, rock, blues, reggae, electronic, etc.

Besides music festivals, the sports events are being developed and revived. Tolmin will host the Soča Outdoor Festival, Bovec Marathon is being organized again, and there is also Hiking Festival in autumn.

Hotel Dvorec is the closest accommodation to the central festival area and therefore the ideal starting point.

The Soca Valley is much more peaceful in winter, but that doesn`t meant there is no place to go, see or visit .

Soon, there are going to be traditional carnivals - in Drežnica and Drežniške Ravne, where the young preserve an old pagan carnival with unmarried men entertain the locals and the vistiors in home-made wooden masks.
